PURPOSE OF COMPASSION FUND:
Provide, within funds available, temporary emergency financial assistance along with any needed budget and financial counseling to members of our group. Our committee accepts this responsibility seriously and prayerfully and follows guidelines published in Crown Financial Ministries, Church Manual "Benevolence" by Larry Burkett, September 2006 Edition.

About CBC Singles:

A Ministry of CENTRAL BIBLE CHURCH
Community Group meets every Sunday at 10:45 A.M. in Room 153, 1st Floor, of our New Connection Bldg (the former SNB Bldg.) across Anderson from the church. Closest Parking and Entry to Room 153 is on SE side and end of the parking lot and bldg. Cars should enter the parking lot through the first gate entrance on NE corner of the property. Our Committees

Women's Coordinator:
Women's Ministry:

Linda Altoonian, Cindy McCord, Mary Ann Garvin. Encourages all women

in the CG to build supportive relationships with

each other. To start and support Women's Integrity/Accountability /Prayer Groups or

Partners within the Home Groups and CG.

Men's Coordinator:
Joe Mills - Encourage all men in the CG to build supportive relationships with each other. To start and support Men's Integrity/Accountability/

Prayer Groups or Partners within the HG's

and CG.

Prayer Team:
Cindy Locke, Patricia Watkins, Stephanie

Fanning
Foster and maintain a spirit of prayer and

worship within the group. Include members

prayer requests in praying for and keeping

the members' requests before the group. As requested, insure confidentiality of member.

Outreach Committee:
Gail Smart, Lesa Jezek, Jill Jones - Organize

and execute 3 or 4 special outreach activities

each year, involving as many group members

as possible. Promotes ongoing outreach among participants in the CG. Plans and executes

evangelism activities and promotes CG

participation.

CG/Church Women's Ministry Liaison:

Cindy Locke - Provides group members

information on events, studies and retreats

of the Church Women's Ministry. Encourages

women group members participation and involvement.

Membership Support:
Greeting Cards for illness and various

occasions:
CG members who aren't connected in a HG

Group Membership Coordinator: Julie Adams - Maintains and distributes group directory.

CG Host, Greeters and Care Coordinators:
Mary Ann Garvin, Cindy Locke, Mike

Marshall - Assist in follow-up to contact visitors

and getting them involved in worship service, Community Group and Home Groups.

Communicate with and encourage members,

being aware of special needs. Inform Prayer Coordinator of special needs and prayer requests.

Meals Coordinator - Kaylynn Levene

Maintains members nametags - Wayne Johnson.

CG Beverage/Refreshment/Clean-up Team: Get coffee and organize the classroom on Sunday morning. Responsible for cleanup and packing

away supplies. Make sure refreshments are

provided.

Donna Shelton - Refreshment Scheduling & Reminders
Wayne Johnson & Joe Mills - Get coffee, ice and water each Sunday.
La Verne Cocke, Mary Ann Garvin, Jill Jones, Tracy Jean-

Set out supplies for coffee/refreshments for CG. Clean, room, tables and store supplies away for

next Sunday.

Compassion Committee: Mike Marshall, Cindy Locke, La Verne Cocke, Julie Adams, Debbie

Todd. The Committee members are selected by

CG Shepherd. Maintain/operate the group's Compassion Fund, following guidelines outlined

in the Crown Financial Ministries, Church Manual "Benevolence" by Larry Burkett, September 2006 Edition.

Activities Committee: Gail Smart

and Chris Garcia - Organize and execute social activities and special events. Promote group participation in all activities. Assist hosting

home with preparation and cleanup.

Retreat Committee:
Cindy Locke, Debbie Todd, Cindi McCord - Plan, organize and implement the Pantego Singles

Retreat each year.

Hoyle Outreach COORDINATOR: Cindy Locke - Ministry to involve members of the community

group in weekly activities to facilitate recreation, fellowship and relationship building.
